Letter from Francis Lockerman at M.A.C. to Joseph Burchinal regarding Lockerman's time at the Agricultural College and a recent injury to the heel of his left foot. Lockerman describes his foot as very painful and that he has "been in a very bad condition for three or four days." He also states that he "dislike[s] the way the Southern States have acted, and still I should not like to join a Northern Army."
