Letter from Francis Lockerman in Baltimore to Joseph Burchinal in which Lockerman encloses copies of Liddell's History of Rome and Gibbons' The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire as gifts, based on his grandfather's recommendation. Lockerman also writes that he "saw John McDaniel yesterday" and he will be delivering money to Burchinal. Additionally, Lockerman requests that Burchinal give Mary Sparks his regard.
