A letter of recommendation written by Dr. Montgomery Jones on behalf of Joseph Burchinal, who is applying for a teaching position. Writing from the Laboratory of Agriculture, Dr. Jones he can "speak knowingly as to [Burchinal's] diligence and thorough scholarship" and that he encouraged Burchinal to pursue teaching before he graduated from Washington College.
