Jack Foehrenbach, born September 30, 1926, served on the USS Intrepid during WWII. He tells us numerous stories about his time aboard the ship, including his encounter with a tsunami and multiple kamikaze attacks. He also talks about his life in Long Island before entering the war effort in 1943, including blackouts and his expulsion from high school. Jack also talks about his experiences after returning home, including his return to college and his use of the GI Bill.
