Clyde Freeman was born in Butlerstown, Kent County, Maryland on October 12, 1928. He was a teenager during the war and he joined the United States Army in 1946. Liked to play the horses. He was stationed in post war Japan as a military police officer.

In the interview Clyde Freeman discusses his experiences in the military, post war Japan, and growing up on the eastern shore.
