Millicent Wagner, born in 1923, served at a naval hospital in Philadelphia during the war. Millicent recalls tending to servicemen with a variety of wounds. She recalls bonding with several of the wounded sailors and endeared herself to them with her positive attitude and caring nature. She also discusses many aspects of the American homefront during the war, including air raid drills, patriotism, and rationing.
