Anna Ware was a schoolteacher for most of the war and talked about her experience growing up in Sudlersville and teaching in Kent Island. She talked about working on her family farm, her husband and his brothers who were in the service, and all the work her mother did for the girl scouts in the area. She also briefly mentioned bits about rationing and how it affected her trips to Rehoboth beach.
