The debate was moderated by President Douglass Cater. Debating the candidates for the 1984 Presidential election. Conable takes the position in favor of four more years of President Reagan while Bolling advocates for Walter Mondale. The economy, taxes, and the deficit are the main policies brought up, although foreign policy and social welfare are also discussed. When the recording begins the talk has already started. There was a question and answer potion at the end, the questions are difficult to hear.
