Letter mentions receiving Anna’s letter, thanks her for her offer of help and hopes she could visit for the inauguration (possibly President Grover Cleveland’s). Letter also mentions the difficulty in handling Mrs. Deeth’s illness and death along with the Deeth boys as well as other illnesses in the family.
