Reporter Bob Woodward was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Letters at the 211th Commencement. He was introduced by President Trout. In his speech Woodward talked to the graduating class about doubt, he then talked about his youth working as a janitor in his fathers law office and snooping through the papers and finding the true reality of his small town, his dislike of his time in the navy and what he learned from it; starting his career in journalism and his father's reaction to not going to law school, leading to advising the students to get out of their comfort zone, how education allows you to take advantage of surprises. He talked about his recent quote "all work is made in defiance of management." Woodward ended with a funny story about his Republican parents reaction to Watergate and Nixon's interview with Frost and being called a liberal. The video ends at 19:03.
