Maryland Appeals Court Chief Judge Robert Bell lecture, given as part of Washington College's pre-law program, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Goldstein Program in Public Affairs. Prof. Michael Harvey provides the introduction. Judge Bell calls his lecture "My Life in the Law." He gives an overview of his experience with the law and how it shaped his life, including his involvement with the Civil Rights Movement. He talks about difficulties facing the judiciary and the importance of conflict resolution, particularly ADR - Alternative Dispute Resolution. He ends with "Sermons We See" by Edgar A Guest.
